We all love the moment when it comes to eating cake. But when it is time to prepare it, we are not so happy. Our fast lifestyle and today’s lack of time immediately deducts us from complicated recipes. All we who love sweet, but we keep an eye on our diet, we can occasionally afford to try fruit cookie. While drying the fruit, vitamins and nutrients can be saved, and it is not necessary to add sugar because the fruit already contains it.
Fruit snacks are healthy and delicious, and you do not even have to buy dried fruit. You can dry it by yourself. If you want candied fruit, you should have in mind that the preparations are a bit longer but the procedure is quite simple. You will need a thick bottom pot and a thermometer to measure the sugar with a protective net to avoid the cracking of the glass.
You will need:
- 300 grams of dried fruit
- One tablespoon orange liqueur
- 30 grams of peeled almonds
- 130 grams of white chocolate topping
- Baked sticks of pistachios and almonds
- Almond or walnut oil
- Grated chocolate
Put an aluminum foil on a plate and coat it with almond or walnut oil. It is best to take dried apricots, dates or prunes. But, whatever you choose, take out the seeds, put a few drops of liqueur and fill them with almonds.
Heat the chocolate sauce until it is completely dissolved. Take a large tweezers and put a part from the fruit in the chocolate. Then leave it aside and let it dry.
After this, put the grated chocolate and sticks of pistachio and almond on a saucer. Arrange it on a plate in order to dry. Leave the snacks to stand for several hours in a cool place.
