How To Deal With Throat Ache?

1. Grandma’s old recipe

This is one of our favorites due to its simplicity and the wonders it does to your throat. In 250 ml of water add two tablespoons of honey and heat it up before it boils. Be careful because the water must not reach its boiling point. When it is warm enough, remove it from the fire and add two tablespoons of lemon juice. If you prefer a sweeter drink, you can also add a little bit of brown sugar.

2. Inhalation

This is also an old method for cleaning your airways and it helps a lot if you have a running nose. Fill up three mugs of water, add a bag of tea of your choice, and a little bit of chamomile. Boil it and let it cool down for up to a minute. After that, put the boiled water into an inhalation bowl and then put a towel over your head. Put your head down so you can feel the steam gently touching your face. Then, start breathing through your nose for 5-10 minutes if you have a running nose, or through your mouth for curing throat ache. This is a great method to relieve tension and it’s quite cost efficient as well.
