As the temperatures are rising, we are desperate in search for something that will cool us down in these hot days. The first thing that comes to our mind is to grab some fizzy drink or to turn on the air conditioning system. But, instead of doing that, we are suggesting to look our list of 3 healthy and very refreshing drinks for the hot days.
1. Water with mint and cucumber
From all the vegetables, cucumber is one of the best for body refreshment. It is full with water and besides that, it is great for our digestive tract. Mint leaves will calm the body and add some aroma to the water.
- 1 cucumber
- 1 liter of cold water
- Mint leaves
Fill one glass with water. Then, cut the cucumber into circles, leaving the peel on. Take a few mint leaves and put them all into the water. Stir a little bit, and put the glass in refrigerator.
2. Water and yogurt drink
This drink is traditional drink in India. It is very healthy and has many beneficial effects for our digestive tract and our immune system. If you wish, you can add some fruit in order to have a better taste.
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 200 ml of yogurt
- 1/2 cup chopped melon
- 1/2 cup fruits
- 200 ml of water
This drink is very easy to make. Just put all the ingredients in a blender and mix them. Put the creamy mixture in the fridge and drink it when you feel thirsty.
3. Refreshing drink from ginger
The spicy aroma of the ginger might not sounds very attractive. But, if you once try it, you will drink it throughout the whole summer. It is very good because it also regulates the body temperature.
- 30g grated ginger
- 1 L of water
- Fresh lime juice
- 1 teaspoon of honey
- 1/3 cup chopped mint
Mix all ingredients together, and put the dink in the refrigerator to cool well. After 30 minutes, it is ready to drink. Enjoy!
